ROB AND SHELBY
Tradition is sooo 20th Century.
When Rob and Shelby contacted me about their wedding plans, all seemed relatively standard. They were getting married in December in Southampton Registry Office, followed by a nice laid back reception at Dancing Man Brewery. I LOVE this venue, (check out Becci and Bens day here) and straight away I was on board. One small issue arose though - as they only needed me for a few hours from the ceremony onwards, it would be dark by the time the ceremony was finished so photos would be a challenge. What to do?
They mentioned they were getting ready together and arriving together. Very un-traditional. I loved it. Well, I floated the idea of "what if we were to meet up an hour or so before the wedding itself and do some portraits then?". They jumped at the chance and so it was we met up on the chilly mid-afternoon and got to work.
Now, it goes without saying, but how friggin cool do these guys look?
