AIMEE + RICCHI

ORIGAMI BIRDS AND LIMBO DANCING AT SOPLEY MILL IN HAMPSHIRE

Sopley Mill in Hampshire is one of those venues that just "works". The staff are awesome, the setting is incredible, and the building itself is a photographers dream. TBH, a lot of Aimee and Ricchi's wedding was a photographers dream. From the ridiculously cool father of the bride (do you think I can pull off a moustache like his?), to the origami birds scattered about the place, and some quite incredible scenes on the dance floor, it's safe to say 2018 has picked up where 2017 left off for me.I met Aimee at their house in Southampton for "pre-bridal-prep-prep". Aimee was amazingly calm. Well everyone was really. Maybe the lateish ceremony had lulled us into a false sense of security? Anywho, before we knew it we headed off for Sopley Mill to carry on the preppin at which point I thought I'd head off to catch up with Ricchi and the guys. They were at the pub. YES! I had a diet coke (promise) and got to know the crew, and again Ricchi also seemed mega calm. A short wander back to the mill and it was time to finish off bridal prep and go get hitched. The ceremony was a blur. An epic reading by an uncle with the coolest voice ever (hard to recreate in text form) was a highlight, but also Aimee and Ricchi's little glances to each other. These guys are like peas and carrots. Salt and vinegar. Cider and beer gardens. They just work so well together. Always laughing, not taking things too seriously at all.Which leads me to the evening. The mister and missus game. The semi-staged-come-improvised first dance. The sheer mentalness of the dance floor (tie's on heads were a must). yep, it's safe to say I had a blast. I stayed far past my welcome I think, but I didn't care. I loved every minute.[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][et_pb_row _builder_version="3.0.106" module_alignment="center"][et_pb_column type="4_4"][et_pb_text background_layout="light" use_border_color="off" border_color="#ffffff" border_style="solid" _builder_version="3.0.106" text_orientation="center"]
