Lower Stockbridge Farm Barn Wedding - Sarita and James

When a good pal Johnny contacted me asking if I would be up for shooting a wedding at which he was the best man I jumped at the chance. Johnny is a photographer also which made his asking me all the more special. Sarita and James were to be married at Lower Stockbridge Farm Barn near Sherborne in the rolling Dorset countryside. A part of the world so pretty you just have to do it justice.I chatted to Sarita about their ideas for the day. The word "casual" and "laid back" were said quite often. There is a great freedom afforded at a more relaxed wedding.Sarita has the most incredible dreads you can imagine. The colours and layers just screamed photograph me. I'm sure you will agree she looked incredible. James scrubbed up well also, although I get the impression wearing suits isn't his first choice of clothing. You held it together well man!Lower Stockbridge farm is a stunning venue, the barn and surrounding grounds gave a real country feel to the whole occasion, with plenty of cool little nooks for photographs. Loved it.In the evening James serenaded the guests with a few songs and then the band kicked off. A full on reggae gig ensued. Yes there was some "questionable" dance moves on show but who cares, this lot rocked.
