A wedding in my home town | Lianne and Richard

Having been in this photography lark for some years, you get to shoot all over. I have been all over the country, away from home, even out of the country. I come from a small town which has all of two wedding venues. My very first wedding was at one of these, and finally a few weeks back I got to shoot the other (finally).Lianne and Richard were married in St Mary's Church in Alverstoke, Gosport, followed by a reception at the Alverbank Hotel. Situated a stones throw from Stokes Bay beach the Alverbank always pops up in my news feed. It's hard not to see the photos and think "it's been done before", it's always a challenge of mine to shoot things different.[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type="1_2"][et_pb_text admin_label="Text" background_layout="light" text_orientation="left" use_border_color="off" border_color="#ffffff" border_style="solid"]  And so it was I selected the Alverbank Hotel car park to do the bridal party portraits, the ugly bench in Stanley Park next door for a few portraits and then the obvious beach shot - but with a twist.Lianne and Richard were awesome, totally trusting in me and my ideas. That's what I love the most, being given free reign and the couple having a little spirit of adventure to just go with it.The Alverbank is now ticked off my list, yet I am shooting there again in a few days (buses coming in pairs springs to mind) so I get to do it all over again, but again trying to do it different. Here is Lianne and Richards day.[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][et_pb_row admin_label="Row"][et_pb_column type="4_4"][et_pb_text admin_label="Text" background_layout="light" text_orientation="left" use_border_color="off" border_color="#ffffff" border_style="solid"]
