Back Garden Wedding in Hampshire
Georgia and Kyri // Fareham Wedding Photography
Most of the time I am travelling far and wide to photograph weddings. I do enjoy seeing new places and visiting new venues. But, to shoot a wedding in my very own town of Fareham in Hampshire, literally 5 minutes from my door, well that is quite a novelty. Georgia and Kyri were planning a small wedding at the local church followed by a party in their back garden, and what they created could give a few wedding venues a run for their money.
I met Georgia at their house and captured the goings on - make up, hair, the finishing touches to the garden, and the general hustle and bustle of a wedding morning. I then hot footed it to the Parish Church of St Peter and St Paul in Fareham town centre. Tucked away right in the centre of town I had never even set foot in here but as churches go this one is a peach.
After the ceremony we did the obligatory family group shots (yes, I do these and they’re actually mega important) before heading back to the house. Georgia did a little dress change before the food and dancing kicked off in earnest and I did my best to capture all of the love and laughs. This was such a cool afternoon spent with good people in a beautiful setting and I feel truly blessed to get these opportunities.
Here’s 60 or so highlights from the day.
