Tory + Ryan

Torture. Probably not the first thing that should spring to mind when describing a wedding, but when the temperature is pushing a billion degrees and you're surrounded by the inviting waters surrounding Itchenor Sailing Club, yep, it's torture. It's a good thing Tory and Ryan's wedding kept me distracted - and what a day it was.

I met Tory, the family and her girls in a little cottage in Itchenor village to cover the whole getting ready bit. One of my main memories from the morning was just how chilled it all was. Tory was definitely all about the day being relaxed and as non fussy as possible. The whole day reflected this, even down to her dress from Needle and Thread which had a real air of the relaxed about it. Set off with a separate lace overlay it just suited her down to the ground. Add to that the sunglasses and yep, she looked amazing.

We left the cottage and made the short walk through the village down to the jetty where Tory and her girls jumped on a boat for the trip up the river to the venue. I've never photographed a wedding where the aisle is a jetty, but there's a first for everything and all that.

Tory met her Ryan on the bandstand at Itchenor Sailing Club and they said their vows and I do's and just like that we were back out on the water for another trip around the river. What a perfect way to spend an afternoon. And to think, I do this for a job. Haha! We ate food, speeches were had, and people just enjoyed the day until the stars of the show arrived - the Alpacas. Gah!!! I'll let the photos do them justice.
