When all else fails, call Spiderman.
Cheese and Onion. Salt and Vinegar. Fish and Chips. There are things in life which go together. Without one, the other is just wrong I guess. In a way we aren't even aware that there are 2 elements as they form to make a whole. This is Anna and Pete. It took them a while to get here, but here they are, having a wedding, finally.I had known Pete and Anna for years, through the old 9-5. They were always "Pete and Anna", but there was never really talk of a wedding. They were one of those couples who were more than happy as they were and getting married just wasn't on the to-do list.Until it was.[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type="1_2"][et_pb_text admin_label="Text" background_layout="light" text_orientation="left" use_border_color="off" border_color="#ffffff" border_style="solid"]After their second child Ioan came along (a few years after the rock and roll Nye) I guess the planets aligned, the 4 leaf clovers came into bloom and a pig flew over the house - Pete contacted me "are you maybe available on the 6th May?"And so it was that early May I headed for Llantwit Major in South Wales to capture these two become a one - officially. That they put this wedding together in a mere couple of months is even the more amazing as it was one of the coolest, personal and just darned lovely weddings I've photographed. The ceremony was at St Illtyd's Church which is in fact the site of the oldest college in the UK (c. 395AD so you know) with the reception at St Donats Art College (which is set in the grounds of a castle which is more Hogwarts than college). Pete was in a pretty cool suit, Anna in a gorgeous tea-length and Nye in.....a spiderman outfit. Yep, he wins.There is a 3rd member in this marriage - Biffy Clyro, so it was only fitting their first dance was a little "Biblical" (see what I did there).
