Wylds Farm Wedding Photography
Where do I start with the incredible tale of Katie and Matthew's humanist wedding ceremony at the bloody charming Wylds Farm near Petersfield?Picture this: a sunny day with festival flags fluttering in the breeze, painting the scene with vibrant colours and setting the stage for an unforgettable celebration of love. A former cattle farm turned Christmas tree farm, Wylds Farm provided the perfect backdrop for this bohemian affair. With its rustic charm and laid-back vibes, it created an atmosphere that embraced all things free-spirited and unconventional. You couldn't help but feel at ease in such a place.
As guests arrived, they were greeted by an explosion of colours. Festival flags adorned every corner, dancing in harmony with the wind. It was like stepping into a kaleidoscope of joy and happiness - full on Glasto. Hay bales at the ready, the guests settled in awaiting Katie’s arrival on, of course, a tractor.
Now, let's talk about Matthew's Dad, who took on the role of the celebrant. How rad is that? Having a family member leading the ceremony added such a personal touch. He wove together stories, laughter, and heartfelt moments, making everyone feel right at home. It’s always so touching when someone the couple knows conducts a ceremony, and while he may have veered off here and there (apprently very on brand for Matthews dad) it was just a lush way to tie the knot.
The overall vibe of the day was as relaxed as a lazy summer afternoon. People lounged on cozy blankets, basking in the warm sun. Laughter and conversation floated through the air, creating a sense of camaraderie and unity. It was a true celebration of love and togetherness (and booze). A day filled with music, it was a mix of folk tunes, soulful melodies, and toe-tapping beats. The sound filled the air, creating an enchanting ambiance that resonated with the rhythm of love. From acoustic guitars to full band, every note added to the sheer awesomeness of the day.
Katie and Matthew's humanist wedding at Wylds Farm was an extraordinary fusion of nature, colour, music, and that laid-back boho atmosphere. It was a day filled with love, laughter, and all of the things that I love about this job. And as the sun set, casting a golden glow over the festivities, it was clear that this was a wedding to remember, one that captured the essence of their unique love story.
