Wedfest! A Wedding At A Music Festival.

I’ve shot umpteen “festival weddings”. Most are, for obvious reasons, more wedding than festival, but in Emma and Robin’s case it was most definitely more festival than wedding. Well, this is simply what happens when you have passionate, and obscenely talented, musicians who want to get hitched, and all of their pals are also obscenely talented musicians, so the obvious choice is to get them all in a field and have an actual music festival. And that’s exactly what went down. Emma and Robin’s “Wedfest”. A wedding at a music festival.
Now, when I say festival, I don’t simply mean a few hay bales and some bunting. These guys went ALL out. There was a fairground, there was face painitng, there was BBQ food, there was a kids entertainer, there was at tent village, a bar, axe throwing, clay pigeon shooting. Oh, and just the small matter of a full orchestra, string quartets, the most insane 4 piece group who all played the same electric double bass AT THE SAME TIME, a punk rock group, a DJ, and I am sure I’ve forgotten loads too. There was even a German magician who conducted the ceremony!! This wedding was, hands down, the most bonkers wedding I’ve ever been to.
Oh, and to add to the authenticity of it all, it even rained.
