Modern London Wedding at Fredericks in Camden
Eve and Daniel // Fredericks of Camden
I adore a good trip to London. It’s simply iconic, and everywhere you look is a photo to be had. One switch I’ve noticed these past years is that instead of using a dedicated wedding venue (of course, there’s nothing wrong with that!) couples are more and more going for a wedding meal in their fave restaurant, such as this one I shot at Asylum Chapel. But Eve and Daniel went the whole shebang by not only having their meal at their fave restaurant of Fredericks in Camden, but the actual wedding itself too.
One thing about shooting in London is that sometimes you’ve got to improvise. It’s so fast paced and just “busy” that it’s hard to do what you’d normally do at a barn wedding, or a farm wedding. It’s kinda hard to tell a hundred people walking down Camden Passage to stop while I set up a confetti line. Hence the slight twist on the confetti line I did here - everyone stand in front of the place and throw it in the air. It worked, although I’m not sure the road sweepers thanked us.
Eve, Daniel and I went for a stroll for some cool portraits, before heading back for grub. Daniel, a chemistry super geek, added a touch of his passion to the wedding decor - see if you can spot the chemical flasks and beakers from your school chemistry days. The whole day was full of colour, and love, and fun. I loved it.
Here’s Eve and Daniel’s day as I saw it.
