The Isle of Wight is just a short hop for from my home in Hampshire, but I've only shot there a handful of times. Which is a shame because it is an absolute gem of place with awesome wedding venues. They're kinda spoilt over there. East Afton Farmhouse is one such place. 

When Abi and Duncan asked me to shoot their wedding photography at East Afton Farmhouse, I was absolutely stoked. Not only was the venue ace, but Abi and Duncan are the exact sort of people I love to work with - enthusiastic, authentic in their love for one another, and up for just about anything - even heading to the beach, kicking off their shoes, and standing in the sea. I loved everything about their day.

Lastly, just quickly, let's talk about Ska bands at weddings. Yes please! More ska bands!! Hands down the sweatiest, most insane dance floor I've ever shot thanks in no small part to the epic band Ska'd For Life. Also, one last big shout out to Ashley Wild Bridal for Abi's bespoke veil. Sure, it had a mind of it's own in the wind, but man it made for some good pics.
