It means a huge amount just to be considered to shoot your wedding for you, so for that alone I thank you. It can take me up to 48hrs to respond (I’ve got kids - if you know, you know) but I will try my upmost to get back to you much sooner.

The Experience
I’m going to make an assumption - you don’t hire a photographer that often. I’ll make some more assumptions - when it comes to wedding photography you’re not even sure what to expect, how the process would work, or if it’s even worth it. Well, to help, here’s a few things to muse about.
It happens once - Weddings are one of the few times when all your loved ones will be in one place. A few pro photos are not a bad idea.
48 Hour previews - In this world of instant gratification, I know that seeing your images pretty quickly is important, especially as you'll see LOADS of images from your pals phones (most of which will suck). So, I aim to deliver 20 preview images within 48 hours of your wedding.
Simplicity - Weddings are pretty stressful to plan, so I aim to keep things as simple as possible for you. I help with advice when you need it, I'm there for you during the planning, and I will send you helpful guides and ideas in the build up.
I believe in being of service - Yes I'm there to take photos, but I'm also there to be your cheerleader, to have your back, to deal with small problems that arise, to carry your mums bag and to get a chair for granny.
You will ugly cry - This is not to blow my own trumpet, but you cannot underestimate how you will feel when you receive your gallery. Expect all of the tears.
I bloody LOVE weddings - I do. They are an absolute oasis of joy in what can be a pretty shitty world. I am advocate for celebrating love, and embracibg whatever a wedding looks like to you. Big or small. Extravagant or subtle.
What to expect from me
The website has got a flavour of what I’m all about, but I can’t emphasise enough how much I love what I do. Often nowadays weddings are about what a wedding looks like (thanks Instagram), rather than about what I think is by far the most important thing - the people. The one and only time all your loved ones will be in one place, all there to celebrate your love for each other and their love for you. It’s kinda cool. For me, it’s absolutely what it’s all about.
I’m there to capture that love. To tell the tales. To fill in the gaps.
I love being a part of the wedding, rather than at the periphery. I want to be in close in, getting the shots which really capture the personalities. The more I’m let in, the more that guests relax around me. And also, the easier it is for you to relax. More people hate having their picture taken, but I make it easy. I don’t tell you what to do. I don’t dictate. I simply document.
